Bethesda Softworks, along with developers Bethesda Game Studios and Virtuos, plans to release The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on the Switch 2 in 2026.
The remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion became available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store on April 22, 2025.

The remastered version includes the popular expansions Knights of the Nine and The Shivering Isles, as well as all previously released downloadable content like “Fighter’s Stronghold,” “Spell Tome Treasures,” and more – including the infamous “Horse Armor Pack.”
Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will receive everything mentioned previously, along with unique armor and weapon sets inspired by Mehrunes Dagon and Akatosh, plus the official digital artbook and soundtrack.
