The best streamers of 2025

2025 saw a huge surge in streaming, with countless broadcasters going live. But a select few really stood out. Here’s our list of the Top 10 streamers who made a big impact and grabbed everyone’s attention this past year.

10. Squeezie

This October, French streamer Squeezie hosted a racing competition that became a huge hit, attracting a massive audience and earning widespread praise as one of the year’s top events.

Squeezie hosted the last event of his Formula 4 racing series, GP Explorer, bringing together popular Twitch streamers from France and the United States. The event, held at the Le Mans circuit from October 3rd to 5th, featured more than just racing – attendees enjoyed opening ceremonies, concerts, and quick sprint races as well.

Popular streamers Hasan and Pokimane commentated in English, while Spanish streamer Ibai provided commentary in Spanish. American Twitch stars Ludwig and Michael Reeves also joined the fun, competing as a team in The Crew Motorfest.

The final race attracted a massive crowd of tens of thousands of in-person spectators and shattered Twitch viewership records in France, reaching a peak of over 1.3 million viewers on Squeezie’s channel. Streamer Ludwig was particularly impressed, calling the event better than anything he’d seen from streamers in the US.

9. FaZe Lacy

Lacy joined FaZe Clan in 2024 as part of their major revamp and quickly became popular on Twitch, attracting over 2 million followers. His funny “In Real Life” streams, especially those with other FaZe members, were a big reason for his success.

Lacy gained attention several times over the past year thanks to viral moments. These included revealing his impressive physical transformation in December and playfully imitating Drake’s shoe-throwing incident from February 2025.

Lacy’s fun and often silly interactions with his FaZe Clan teammates have made him incredibly popular in the world of live streaming – people recognize him so much that one fan even used him as the subject of a college presentation!

8. ohnePixel

German streamer ohnePixel became well-known as the top English-language co-streamer for Counter-Strike tournaments. In 2025, he gained even more popularity by co-streaming the VCT Masters Valorant event.

Even though he was new to Valorant, his channel quickly became the most popular co-stream, often drawing more viewers than the official broadcast itself. He consistently averaged around 70,000 viewers, with peaks exceeding 120,000 – numbers higher than any other co-streamer – and generated a lot of viral content. He’s still the top channel for Counter-Strike 2, regularly attracting over 30,000 viewers and currently streaming live from the BLAST Austin Major event.

One of Ohne’s other big moments this year happened when he teamed up with popular streamers TimTheTatman, Nadeshot, and Arrow to open Counter-Strike cases worth $400,000. Their combined livestream attracted over 250,000 viewers, even though the case openings didn’t go very well – just as many people predicted.

7. PlaqueBoyMax

PlaqueBoyMax has quickly become a top streamer on Twitch, boosted by popular collaborations with musicians like Trippie Redd, Fivio Foreign, DDG, BabyChiefDoit, and Sexyy Red.

I’m a huge fan of this guy – he’s a total pro at both broadcasting and making music! What’s really cool is when he does his ‘in the booth’ sessions on Twitch. He creates beats live with different artists, and it always goes viral. It’s gotten him over 2.3 million followers, and he’s built this awesome community of people who tune in to watch and listen to his work.

Even after leaving FaZe Clan earlier this year, he’s successfully built his own personal brand and continues to create content and produce music for major rappers. He did take a significant break due to a serious tattoo infection, but he’s returned healthy and energized, much to the delight of his fans who were excited to see him back in action.

6. Cinna

Cinna is a popular Twitch streamer, ranking among the top 100 most-watched. She’s gained a large audience thanks to her witty personality, fun real-life streams, and diverse gaming content. She’s also collaborated with big names like Valkyrae, and the pair recently went viral with a week-long streaming event – a ‘sisathon’ – even after it had to be postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Cinna gained a lot of attention online with her impressive Squirrel Girl costume from the game Marvel Rivals, which she first showed off in late December 2024 and received a great response. She’s also appeared on Netflix as a guest on the Sidemen’s reality show, Inside.

Cinna has become well-known on Twitch thanks to her relatable personality and diverse content. Even popular streamers like Kai Cenat have noticed her, with Cenat praising her as a “refreshing” presence compared to others.

5. Ironmouse

Ironmouse is a hugely popular VTuber known for her charming yet mischievous personality and incredible singing voice. Even with serious health challenges, she’s become a top online entertainer, building a loyal fanbase of millions who consistently support her.

This year was huge for fundraising! I managed to raise over a million dollars for The Immune Deficiency Foundation, which is a charity that really means a lot to me because it focuses on research and treatment for my condition, Common Variable Immunodeficiency. I did this back in July, shortly after leaving my agency, VShojo. It turned out they hadn’t sent the $500,000 I asked them to donate – money earned during my crazy subathon last September. They eventually admitted they just… kept the funds. It was a really frustrating situation, but I’m glad the money finally got to where it needed to go.

Ironmouse’s 2025 charity event raised more than double the amount needed to cover the agency’s debt, prompting a heartfelt response from Jorey Berry, president of the Immune Deficiency Foundation. He praised Ironmouse, saying, “She thought of us even while facing her own difficulties.” Berry described the total raised as “surreal” and “overwhelmingly positive.”

4. TheBurntPeanut

In late 2025, TheBurntPeanut became a popular figure on social media. The streamer, who’s famous for playing games like Escape from Tarkov, Apex Legends, and GTA Online roleplaying, is a unique type of VTuber. Instead of showing his face, he uses a 3D peanut model with his facial features added on top.

In November, streamer TheBurntPeanut became a trending topic after a playful rivalry in the game Arc Raiders was jokingly called a ‘gang war.’ It began when another streamer, HutchMF, was killed in the game by an opponent, even after asking them to spare him. The player then taunted TheBurntPeanut, shouting a nickname he uses for himself and his fans – “For the Bungulators!”

The disagreement between the two broadcasters quickly turned into a funny and messy online feud, with their fans getting involved. Eventually, TheBurntPeanut came out on top, but both sides have now resolved their differences. His amusing behavior during the Arc Raiders situation was even recognized with a nomination for the 2025 Streamer Awards.

3. Emiru

In 2025, Emiru is the top female streamer on Twitch, and her popularity is easy to understand. She has gained over 1.9 million followers thanks to her engaging livestreams, which include creating costumes, playing games, and interacting with her audience.

She’s such a talented cosplayer that she made history in June by throwing the first-ever opening pitch at a Major League Baseball game! She dressed as the character Rapi from the game Goddess of Victory: Nikke as part of a collaboration between the game and the San Diego Padres.

Emriu has received recognition for how she’s handled difficult situations she’s faced. She’s used her online presence to support other streamers and women who have experienced assault or threats, encouraging event organizers and other broadcasters to address these issues and hold those responsible accountable.

2. Caseoh

It’s easy to see why Caseoh is considered one of the best streamers of 2025. He’s gained a lot of fans this year by playing simulator games in a funny and engaging way. His playthrough of ‘Waterpark Simulator’ was especially popular, with viewers constantly sharing jokes about the mishaps and injuries happening to the virtual park guests.

The inside jokes from Caseoh’s Waterpark Simulator streams became so popular that fans took them into the real world. They bought billboard and truck advertising offering legal help to anyone ‘injured’ at the Goob Lagoon. Some lawyers even jokingly calculated what legal trouble Caseoh would be in if his virtual waterpark mishaps were actually happening in real life.

Caseoh’s genuine personality and funny content have made him a favorite online, particularly after he shared how supportive his parents were when he decided to become a full-time streamer. Taking that chance really worked out for him – he now has over 7.8 million followers on Twitch and more than 11 million subscribers on his two YouTube channels.

1. IShowSpeed

IShowSpeed has become incredibly popular thanks to his energetic live streams, amazing athletic abilities, worldwide adventures, and broad appeal.

In 2025, IShowSpeed became incredibly popular after visiting China, significantly boosting his YouTube channel and receiving thanks from the Chinese government for showcasing their country. He continued traveling through Europe, including Estonia, where local officials also expressed appreciation for his help in promoting tourism.

This year, Speed wasn’t just focused on fast times. He completed a Super Mario marathon with Kai Cenat and even won a race against influencer Ashton Hall. By the end of 2025, one of his livestreams became so popular it appeared on IMDB, ranking him among the site’s top stars, surpassing even Leonardo DiCaprio. Plus, his famous ‘My mom’s kinda homeless’ meme made a comeback. In October, he reconnected with the children involved in the original viral Fortnite moment and pledged to buy their mother a house.

IShowSpeed has become incredibly popular and has a unique talent for attracting viewers beyond the typical streaming audience, making him stand out from other streamers.
