After a pretty rough start to The Amazing Race Season 38, with what felt like an unfair challenge in the first leg, I’m realizing something as someone who usually watches Big Brother online: things aren’t always fair in the world of CBS reality TV! This season, the teams ran into some major problems with train delays in Prague. But honestly, it was a silly chair challenge that ended up sending another team from BB home.

Angela And Lexi Murray Were Eliminated

BB 26 contestant Angela Murray and her daughter Lexi were eliminated from the competition, which wasn’t unexpected. While their team had the lowest betting odds to win The Amazing Race, this was likely due to Angela’s tendency to be unpredictable and her emotional reactions during her time on Big Brother. Even though they were significantly ahead of BB 24’s Matt Turner and his wife, Megan, they unfortunately arrived last at Phil Keoghan.

How Angela And Lexi Reacted To Their Episiode

Angela was able to shed a lot of tears in the two episodes of The Amazing Race they were in, which was similar to her experience on Big Brother. Whether she had a breakdown over having a veto used on her or because someone ate the leftovers from her charcuterie board, the tears were flowing. As such, it’s no surprise her first photo on Instagram was with her daughter Lexi, getting misty-eyed watching her elimination episode:

What really made me become a fan of Angela on Big Brother, though, was her resilience. She doesn’t stay upset for long. Just an hour after sharing a photo of herself crying on the couch, she was out enjoying the Las Vegas strip with her daughter, Lexi, and ready to have fun:

It was amusing to hear Angela say on The Amazing Race that the show made her realize she needs to stop being such a “helicopter parent.” Then it came out that she went to Las Vegas with her daughter to watch the episode, and now they’re enjoying time together. Makes you wonder, did she let Lexi take out the AirTag that’s tracking the car during that trip?

After just two episodes of The Amazing Race, the show is unfolding pretty much how I expected. Jag Bains was an incredibly strong competitor on Big Brother Season 25, and teaming up with his brother Jas has made them an even bigger threat. At this point, I wouldn’t be shocked if they stayed in first place for the whole season, although it’s probably too soon to say for sure.
