Tectone splits from OTK amid sexual assault allegations from ex-girlfriend

As a long-time follower and supporter of Tectone’s stream, I must say this recent turn of events has left me quite disheartened and confused. While it is essential to believe those who come forward with allegations of abuse, it is equally crucial to ensure that the accused have a fair chance to defend themselves.

Twitch personality Tectone has ended his association with OTK following accusations of abuse from his former partner Pinkchyu, allegations he strongly disputes, and he’s now asking for an apology within the next day.

On November 20, 2024, Pinkchyu alleged being a victim of “unwanted sexual advances” in a sequence of tweets without directly mentioning the perpetrator. This led many spectators to suspect Tectone as the person involved, prompting him to issue a statement later on.

In response to the accusations made both live on stream and on X (previously known as Twitter), Tectone firmly denied any misconduct. He countered by suggesting that Pinkchyu might be mistaken or exaggerating, claiming that the issues in question were simply figments of his imagination, as they never actually occurred.

Tectone remarked, “I find it astonishing that events within your mind have led you to approach me in this manner, and frankly, it’s not endearing.

Instead of giving his ex a fortnight to “apologize” before taking legal action, Tectone resumed streaming on November 24 for more discussions about the accusations. During the Twitch broadcast’s initial moments, he acknowledged that he had separated from OTK, although it wasn’t due to the current predicament.

He doesn’t physically or emotionally engage with you in a meaningful way, using you only for sexual purposes while treating you disrespectfully and belittling your self-image. His comments about your appearance make you feel unattractive and undervalued. “Wear more flattering clothes, style your hair nicely, even put on some makeup at home” – these suggestions are designed to crush your self-esteem.

Tectone parts ways with OTK

As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed that there seems to be some changes in OTK’s online presence regarding Tectone. With the recent controversy unfolding, Tectone appears to have been subtly removed from their website. Although he has confirmed his departure from the organization, Tecton himself emphasizes that this decision is unrelated to the Pinkchyu allegation.

In a statement emphasizing that his November 24 broadcast was “the most significant stream of my entire career,” Tectone didn’t shy away from discussing various topics directly and candidly, starting with the subject of OTK (Organization for Tilted Knights).

“Did OTK take you off their site on baseless accusations?” one viewer asked. “The answer is no,” Tectone replied bluntly.

As a gamer, here’s how I might put it: “Back in my world, my contract with that content creator crew was supposed to end on November 1, 2024. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been contemplating my next move. Last night, I made up my mind and decided not to renew. That’s where things stand now.

It seems that the basis for this decision wasn’t connected to the ongoing controversy. Instead, it was reported that Tectone had been contemplating departing for around four months prior. He suggested that being linked with other well-known streamers left him vulnerable or weak.

“I don’t like how people can go after other people when I do some dumb sh**,” he said.

Mostly, he openly showed affection towards several members of OTK who remain, but with certain people, it seemed more like relationships that were maintained due to contractual obligations.

It’s clear that the division happening while Pinkchyu’s current predicament persists has sparked a lot of curiosity, especially due to the lack of response from OTK. To make things more transparent, Tectone carried on with his live stream, concentrating on the allegations made against him.

Tectone gives Pinkchyu deadline to apologize for accusations

Tectone firmly reiterated his position, emphasizing that every allegation she’s making against him in her declaration is absolutely false. In his view, not a single word of the accusations holds any truth; he considers them entirely fabricated.

In response to Pinkchyu’s claim that she was pressured into sexual activities because of unpaid rent, Tectone presented what appeared to be past receipts as evidence. The streamer brought attention to screenshots showing his ex apparently paying the rent on various occasions, but this wasn’t the only piece of information he provided.

Later on, Tectone brought up a past tweet shared by his ex. In her own terms, she asserted that she had paid rent as early as June 2024. Simultaneously in the same tweet, she expressed: “I couldn’t find a better friend than him.

Tectone expressed regret about this matter, stating, “Unfortunately, what everyone believed turns out to be false.” He further pointed out that the tweet in question was inconsistent and a clear deception.

Tectone has set a 24-hour deadline for Pinkchyu: delete the post and issue an apology, or risk legal action. He prefers to resolve this without going to court and avoiding any public scrutiny.

We’ll be sure to update you here with any further developments.
