Hear Me Out, Reputation Tour Was A Better Movie Than The Eras Tour

Look, it’s incredibly difficult to actually see the Reputation Stadium Tour footage, so take this with a grain of salt, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say I think it was a stronger concert film than The Eras Tour. The box office numbers might tell a different story, but honestly, I preferred it.

Okay, look, I’m a huge Taylor fan, and I loved both the Eras tour and the Reputation tour. But honestly? I think the Reputation concert film just works better as a movie. Eras was amazing live, no doubt, but Reputation felt like it was always meant for the big screen. The staging, the visuals – everything was so explosive and dramatic, and the choreography just popped. It just felt more cinematic, you know?

Reputation does a better job of capturing the energy of the Arlington concert and truly immersing you in the experience. It also offers a more personal look at Taylor Swift, making her feel relatable and drawing you into the story. While Eras is enjoyable as a collection of highlights from the tour, it doesn’t quite have the same magical quality.
