Tales of Berseria Remastered arrives on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This updated version of the popular 2017 JRPG brings it to Switch and Xbox consoles for the very first time, featuring improved graphics, smoother gameplay, and all the previously released downloadable content. Tales of Berseria was first released in 2017 and tells a story that happens before the events of 2015’s Tales of Zestiria. It’s the 16th major game in the long-running Tales series. The game centers around Velvet Crowe, a woman driven by a desire for revenge after her brother is killed. It’s a moving story about understanding yourself and learning to move on. You don’t need to have played Zestiria to enjoy Berseria, and you can even jump right into Berseria without any prior knowledge of the series. In fact, Bandai Namco seems to be encouraging new players to start with Berseria, as they haven’t yet remastered Zestria. Given the pattern of remastered Tales games, it’s likely that Bandai Namco will eventually announce a Zestiria remaster, offering both newcomers and longtime fans a complete and updated experience.
