Tales of Berseria Remastered launches for PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Steam on February 26/27, 2026

Bandai Namco announced that Tales of Berseria Remastered is coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. This remastered version updates the original Tales of Berseria, which first launched in Japan for PlayStation 3 & 4 in August 2016, and then in Western regions in January 2017.

The newly released Japanese trailer confirms the remastered game will launch in Japan on February 26, 2026, with the PC version on Steam arriving the following day, February 27th. Considering Bandai Namco’s typical release schedule, we can expect the game to be available worldwide on consoles around February 27th as well.

Today’s announcement confirms series producer Yusuke Tomizawa’s recent promise. Last month, he hinted in an interview with Weekly Famitsu that another Tales Of game would be remastered soon after Tales of Xillia Remastered, and now that’s happening.

Just so you know, this news also brings Tales of Berseria to Steam players in Japan. The original game is already on Steam worldwide, but it currently prevents players in Japan (and Venezuela) from accessing it. This update will remove that restriction.

Tales of Berseria Remastered resolution and frame rate

I was checking the Japanese website, and they’ve posted what Tales of Berseria Remastered is aiming for on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch. They haven’t shared the details for the Steam version yet, but hopefully that’ll come soon! It looks like they’re outlining the target resolution and frame rates for each console.
