As a big fan of Sylvester Stallone, I was really interested to hear his daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, talk about working with him on ‘Tulsa King’. She plays Spencer, who takes care of the horses at Fennario Ranch on the show, and she said it actually changed their relationship. It’s cool to hear how being on set together impacted them both!
I recently read an interview with Sylvester Stallone in TV Insider about working with his daughter on Tulsa King. He talked about how the show, and specifically working with her, really strengthened their bond. She actually said it “completely changed our relationship,” which is a pretty powerful statement! It’s heartwarming to hear how a project like this can bring families closer.
Stallone remembers her father working constantly when she was growing up, which created some distance between them. But working with him on set gave her a chance to see a different side of him, and they’ve grown closer and developed a deeper understanding and respect for each other as a result.
She shared that he was a great support during a stressful time, and she appreciated the opportunity to learn from him and work with him on the project. Stallone explained that while all actors face pressure, this particular actor helped her immensely with her performance, and she truly enjoyed learning from and collaborating with him.
Stallone talked about the father-figure dynamic between her character in Tulsa King and Dwight. She explained that, similar to her own father, the show’s main character helped her character develop and mature. She noted that seeing her character’s journey before and after meeting Dwight, and how he guided her self-discovery, created a significant and meaningful story arc.
New episodes of Tulsa King are released exclusively on Paramount+ every Sunday at 12:00 AM ET.
