Sweet Tooth And The Gang Return In First Look At Twisted Metal Season 2

This year signifies the 30th anniversary of the initial Twisted Metal game on the PS1. In keeping with this milestone, the Twisted Metal TV series is set to resume for its second season in 2025. Recently, Peacock unveiled a sneak peek at Twisted Metal Season 2, which showcases Anthony Mackie’s character, John Doe, offering a brief recap of the first season and hinting at the intense vehicular battles that lie ahead.

In the video, John doesn’t dwell much on minor points. Instead, he talks about falling in love with Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz), meeting Sweet Tooth, a dangerous clown character voiced by Will Arnett and played by Joe Seanoa, formerly known as Samoa Joe. This season, John is set to encounter his long-lost sister, Dollface.

As a gamer, I got a sneak peek at Anthony Carrigan stepping into the role of Calypso, the mastermind behind the Twisted Metal tournament, in the latest trailer. Alongside Calypso, I spotted other drivers that John and Quiet will have to outmaneuver to secure the grand prize. It’s a bit jarring, considering Carrigan sported a completely shaved head for four seasons as NoHo Hank on Barry from HBO. Now, he’s back with a full head of hair!

Michael Jonathan Smith, the mastermind behind Twisted Metal’s second season, hinted that we can expect a high-octane, hilarious, and exhilarating journey ahead. He also mentioned with a touch of sadness that not every memorable character may make it through.

Besides Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim, and Tiana Okoye, additional cast members are yet to be disclosed for their undisclosed roles in the upcoming season of Twisted Metal. The second season of Twisted Metal is set to debut on Peacock this summer.
