Sweden’s 08 Industries and Spain’s Neo Art Team on Peter Lindmark’s High-Paced Thriller ‘Black Site’ (EXCLUSIVE)

08 Industries‘ Swedish producer Fredrik Zander and Neo Art Producciones’ Antonia Nava from Spain are collaborating on “Black Site,” an action-packed English thriller by Peter Lindmark. Both production houses plan to discuss their upcoming joint venture during this year’s European Film Market, where they will be scheduling meetings.

For now, specific details about the plot are being kept secret, but producers have hinted that the movie will involve a tense, deadline-driven storyline, and they promise an intense, action-packed ride with unexpected turns at every corner. At present, the team is working on securing funding, and they’re also in the process of selecting actors and scouting potential filming locations.

As a cinephile, I can’t help but appreciate how this movie aligns with Lindmark’s impressive body of work. His past projects range from the 2006 thriller “Exit,” featuring Mads Mikkelsen and Alexander Skarsgård, to the more recent crime series “Lyckoviken” on Viaplay.

Zander, a co-founder of 08 Industries, expressed great enthusiasm about our partnership with Neo Art Producciones. He believes the blend of our Swedish and Spanish operations makes us ideally suited for this intelligent and exhilarating tale, which unfolds in an engaging and distinctive, yet versatile, backdrop,” stated Zander.

Nava, handling the worldwide distribution of ‘Black Site’ for Neo Art, stated, “It’s a privilege to work alongside such an accomplished producer. We are excited about this co-production and managing international sales. This partnership is a strategic move to bolster our relationships within Scandinavia. In today’s industry, strong collaborations between skilled producers are crucial.

08 Industries, a fresh production company founded by Zander, screenwriter Aron Levander, and entrepreneur Rickard Karlqvist, is set to join forces on this project. The experienced Neo Art will contribute their expertise in international co-productions. Nava, headed by Natalia Villalón, will manage the international sales division for this collaboration. Primarily responsible for post-production services will be Stockholm-based The Chimney Pot.
