Many consider Survivor to be one of the greatest reality TV shows ever made, as it was truly original and paved the way for many others. After the Season 49 finale aired on CBS (and streamed on Paramount+), fans are now looking forward to Survivor 50. This next season will finally bring back past players – something that hasn’t happened in the show’s recent format – and viewers are excited to see how it all unfolds. So, who are the returning contestants?
In May, Survivor revealed most of the cast for its 50th season, mentioning they’d also include two players from the previous season. Now that Season 49 has finished, the full cast is set! Even though some fans weren’t thrilled with the season’s trailer, there’s still plenty to look forward to. Let’s take a closer look at everything.

Cirie Fields (Panama, Micronesia, Heroes vs. Villains, Game Changers & Australia v The World)
Cirie Fields is a fan favorite and considered one of the best players to ever compete on Survivor. Even though she’s played five times, including Australia v The World alongside Parvati Shallow, people are still excited at the possibility of seeing her return to Fiji and compete for the title of Sole Survivor.
Cirie Fields is a reality TV powerhouse, having won The Traitors and reaching the later stages of Big Brother. However, she’s best known as a top Survivor contestant who has never taken home the title. Despite being eliminated without a single vote against her and narrowly losing in Micronesia due to a shortened final round, many believe she deserves a win.

Dee Valladares (Survivor 45)
Dee is a true standout winner returning for Survivor 50. She deserved her win on Season 45, consistently playing a smart and strategic game. Unlike some other recent winners who haven’t impressed fans (like Gabler), Dee has earned a lot of respect. It remains to be seen if her strong gameplay will make her a target for other returning players, and whether she’ll be voted out early, but hopefully she’ll have a good run.

Coach Wade (Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains, & South Pacific)
This player is a well-known and somewhat controversial figure from Survivor history, which explains why he’s competed three times already. He first gained attention for his energetic personality and self-proclaimed title, the Dragon Slayer, on Tocantins. I was surprised to see him return for a fourth season, but I’m excited to see what kind of entertainment – and gameplay – he brings to Season 50.

Joe Hunter (Survivor 48)
I still remember Joe from just a couple of seasons back on Survivor – he really stood out! What I loved was his strong sense of right and wrong, and how he immediately stepped up for Eva when she was having a tough time after a challenge, related to her autism. It was genuinely touching to see their friendship develop, even though they were on opposite tribes, and they managed to make it all the way to the Final Tribal Council together. Sadly, that loyalty didn’t quite get him the win – he ended up in third place. Now that he’s back, I’m really curious to see how the other players will view him. Will they see him as a strong competitor, or will they try to use him as an easy vote? We’ll have to watch and find out!

Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick (Palau, Guatemala, & Heroes vs. Villains)
Stephenie was once a very popular player on Survivor. Fans will remember her from her first season, Palau, where she was the last member of the unsuccessful Ulong tribe before it merged with the others. She returned for Guatemala with fellow castaway Bobby John Drinkard. Later, on Heroes Vs. Villains, she was eliminated early and faced criticism from Jeff Probst for promoting her restaurant during the reunion show. After appearing on The Traitors, Stephenie is now back for the much-awaited fifth season of Survivor.

Savannah Louie (Season 49)
As a huge Survivor fan, I was really excited to hear Savannah is coming back for Survivor 50! She’s one of only two from Season 49 getting a second shot, and honestly, she deserves it. Right from the start, she was a really smart player, super quotable, and she brought a much-needed villainous energy to her season. It’s tough doing two seasons back-to-back, and I’m really curious to see if the other players will target her because of it.

Colby Donaldson (The Australian Outback, All-Stars, & Heroes vs. Villains)
Colby is a veteran of the show Survivor, and he was instrumental in establishing some of its classic character types when he first appeared on The Australian Outback. He was one of the first players known for dominating physical challenges, and quickly became a fan favorite. Though he’s been on the show twice before, this season marks his return after more than ten years. In Heroes vs. Villains, he was the last remaining “hero,” finishing in 5th place.

Jonathan Young (Season 42)
Jonathan Young, a standout physical competitor from Season 42, immediately made a big impact with his strength and size. He single-handedly helped his tribe win several early challenges. It’ll be exciting to see how he performs as a returning player and if he can build alliances with other strong competitors.

Jenna Lewis-Dougherty (Borneo & All-Stars)
As a huge Survivor fan, I’m so excited about this news! Jenna Lewis was instantly memorable way back in the first season, and a lot of us loved seeing her play again on All-Stars. I always wondered if she’d ever get another chance, and it’s finally happening! She’s joining the cast of Survivor 50 in Fiji, which is awesome. Everyone’s always curious about how much the players earn, but honestly, seeing a familiar face like Jenna return is what really gets me hyped!

Kamilla Karthigesu (Season 48)
Kamilla previously competed on Season 48, reaching the final episode. She quietly worked with Kyle, who ultimately won the entire season. Now, both are back for Season 50, and it will be fascinating to see if their past connection benefits or harms their chances this time around.

Ozzy Lusth (Cook Islands, Micronesia, South Pacific, & Game Changers)
Ozzy is a legendary Survivor player, just like Cirie. He’s competed four times and is hoping to finally win on his fifth try. He’s always been strong physically, but sometimes hasn’t been as successful with the game’s strategy. It will be interesting to see if he can adapt his approach in Season 50.

Charlie Davis (Season 46)
Season 46 of the show featured strong gameplay, and contestant Charlie Davis quickly became popular with viewers. However, his ally Maria surprisingly didn’t vote for him at the Final Tribal Council, ultimately costing him the win. Now, fans are wondering if Charlie will change his strategy if he gets another chance to play.

Aubry Bracco (Kaôh Rōng, Game Changers, &Edge of Extinction)
Aubry first appeared on Survivor in its 32nd season and has returned twice since then, before competing on Survivor 50. As a dedicated fan who played the game well, people will have high hopes for her performance in her fourth season.

Emily Flippen (Survivor 45)
Emily Flippen quickly became a fan favorite on New Era. Viewers watched her start the game making strong moves, then learn from her mistakes and ultimately succeed. Many are excited to see how she’ll approach the game on her next playthrough and which players she’ll team up with.

Mike White (David vs. Goliath)
Mike White is a talented actor, director, and writer who previously competed on Survivor while managing to keep his celebrity status under wraps. However, that was before his Emmy-winning success with The White Lotus, which has already included appearances from former Survivor contestants. It remains to be seen how far he’ll go in Survivor 50, or if his castmates will be motivated by the chance to get screen time themselves. He’s definitely an unpredictable and entertaining player to keep an eye on.

Q Burdette (Survivor 46)
Q made a big impact when he joined Season 46 and is one of the most memorable players from the recent seasons. He played with a lot of confidence and is known for creating the ‘Q skirt.’ However, being unexpectedly eliminated will probably change his strategy if he returns to play again.

Chrissy Hofbeck (Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers)
Chrissy would be a fantastic addition to Survivor’s 50th season. She previously competed on season 35 as part of the Heroes tribe and proved to be a well-liked, clever player. She also excelled in physical competitions, winning an impressive four Individual Immunity Challenges.

Tiffany Nicole Ervin (Season 46)
Season 46 of Survivor featured a lot of talented players, and Tiffany was among the best. She also created some memorable moments, like when Bhanu Gopa pleaded with her not to vote him out. I’m confident she’ll be a fierce competitor when she returns for another season.

Rick Devens (Edge of Extinction)
Rick Devens quickly won fans over when he first appeared on season 38, Edge of Extinction. He even became a favorite of host Jeff Probst, landing a role hosting the official Survivor podcast, On Fire. Now, he’s returning as a competitor, facing off against some of the show’s most legendary players.

Rizo Velovic (Season 49)
Right from the start of Season 49, Rizo stood out as a strong player. He was confident and played an aggressive game, making him a likely candidate to return for Survivor 50. Now, it will be interesting to see how he performs against tougher competition.

Genevieve Mushaluk (Season 47)
Although Survivor often features players labeled as ‘villains,’ Genevieve stood out on Season 47 as someone who openly prioritized strategy over emotions. I really enjoyed watching her play that season, and I’m excited to see what she does in her second attempt at winning.

Angelina Keeley (David vs. Goliath)
Three players from a previous season of David vs. Goliath are competing on Survivor 50, which promises to be exciting. Angelina, known for memorable moments like asking a recently voted-out player for her jacket, is back, and it will be interesting to see how far she goes this time – and whether she teams up with Mike White.

Christian Hubicki (David vs. Goliath)
Christian is one of three former contestants returning for the show’s 50th season, having previously competed in a season often likened to a ‘David vs. Goliath’ scenario. He’s remembered for being a bit anxious, his funny quotes, and his skill at finding and using Hidden Immunity Idols – he even won Immunity challenges! Last time, he finished in seventh place, so he’s likely hoping to last longer in the game this time around.
The new season of Survivor, season 50, has a diverse cast that promises exciting television. It will premiere on February 25th as part of the 2026 season, and viewers will have to wait and see who gets eliminated first!
