Support For This Final Fantasy Game Has Suddenly Ended On iOS

Square Enix announced they will no longer provide updates or assistance for the iOS edition of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered because they have altered the game’s in-app purchasing system.

On January 24th, it was mentioned that users were unable to access extra paid content within the iOS edition of the game. This problem affected both the free trial and the premium editions of the game available on iOS devices.

Upon investigating the problem, Square Enix discovered that alterations to their in-app purchase system were the culprit. Yet, they determined that resolving the bug and implementing the new changes concurrently was not feasible. Consequently, Square Enix has opted to discontinue service for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered on iOS altogether.

Square Enix is providing refunds for individuals who made in-app purchases on specific content between January 2024 and beyond. Eligible purchases can amount to a maximum of 15 items.
