Superman is coming to 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD this Tuesday, September 23rd. The movie, a reboot directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet, has received good reviews and has been a popular pre-order item since July 11th – the same day it hit theaters. While the Limited Edition Steelbook is already sold out, Walmart is now taking pre-orders for a special Lenticular Art Limited Edition featuring both Superman and Clark Kent. This version is expected to sell out quickly and is priced at $30, so it’s best to order yours soon.
Okay, so I checked, and the Limited Edition Lenticular 4K Blu-ray is actually the same price as the regular 4K version on both Amazon and Walmart. If you’re not after 4K and just want the 1080p Blu-ray, you can grab it for just 25 bucks – not bad at all!
The 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Superman are packed with extras – over 90 minutes of bonus content like animated shorts and behind-the-scenes featurettes.
