A new villain is joining the DC Universe! In the upcoming movie, releasing on June 26th, Supergirl (played by Milly Alcock) will face off against a space pirate portrayed by Diarmaid Murtagh, known for his role in Vikings.
Murtagh will play Drom Baxton, the second-in-command to the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills (played by Matthias Schoenaerts). Krem leads The Brigands, a group of space pirates and human traffickers who will be the primary villains in Supergirl.
Besides playing Leif in Vikings, Murtagh has also appeared in Outlander as William “Buck” MacKenzie and as Donal McDonnell in The Tourist.
