Each year since 2020, Geoff Keighley has organized the Summer Game Fest in place of E3. This event features a kickoff showcase each June, where game developers can unveil or premiere trailers for their upcoming projects. We knew that Summer Game Fest would return in 2025, but we didn’t know exactly when until today. Geoff Keighley confirmed the return date and revealed the vibrant artwork for Summer Game Fest 2025.

1) The Summer Game Fest is set to come back on June 6th, but the exact timing for the event hasn’t been finalized yet. Last year, Summer Game Fest 2024 was held at 2 p.m. Pacific Time on June 7, 2024. This year’s event can be watched live from home or in person at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. As of now, no specific games or studios have been confirmed for Summer Game Fest 2025, but Geoff Keighley hinted that it will present what’s upcoming across the entire video game industry.
This year, Keighley has confirmed that the Summer Game Fest will be accompanied by a Play Days event for media professionals and influencers, similar to previous years. At home viewers, mark your calendars for June 6th as this showcase is something you won’t want to miss!
