‘Suits’ Is Leaving Netflix at the End of December

I was so captivated by that legal drama on Netflix, but sadly, it looks like our time with it is coming to an end. It was amazing to see it gain so much popularity again when it arrived on the platform in 2023, but it seems like it’s leaving Netflix in a lot of places soon. I’m really going to miss it!

Starring its leads and featuring supporting actors Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Torres, Suits takes place in New York City. The show centers on Harvey Specter, a highly successful corporate lawyer, and his team, including the brilliant Michael James Ross. Ross, despite not being a licensed attorney, impresses Specter with his incredible memory and manages to land a job.

As a huge TV fan, I was honestly shocked by how popular Suits became on Netflix! It even led to them trying to make a spin-off, Suits: L.A., though that didn’t quite take off. But now, sadly, it looks like all nine seasons of Suits are leaving Netflix at the end of December. It really exploded onto the charts back in 2023 after the final season dropped, and it seems a lot of countries are losing access soon. If you’re planning a binge-watch, or just want to revisit it, you might want to check if your region is affected!

The entirety of Suits is scheduled to leave the following regions on December 31, 2025.

Although Suits is currently leaving Netflix, that could change in the future. These things often depend on licensing deals, which can be updated. Given the show’s initial popularity, Netflix might want to continue offering it in various countries.

Originally airing from 2011 to 2019, Suits was a popular show that received many award nominations. However, its recent success on Netflix was unexpected, as it quickly became the most-watched show Netflix had ever acquired in a single week.

Although the Suits spin-off didn’t succeed, the show’s recent popularity on Netflix has led to discussions about bringing it back. Patrick Adams, a star of the show, shared last year that creator Aaron Korsh is now actively working to make a revival happen. Adams said Korsh is “trying to get the band back together,” but whether it will be possible depends on many factors.
