The popular My Neighbor Totoro glass tumblers are back in stock! These tumblers, which sold out quickly two years ago, are available now for 2,200 yen (about $14) each. You can find all three designs on the official online store.

Studio Ghibli‘s Re-Released Glass Tumbler Collection Is Perfect for Totoro & Catbus Fans

I’m absolutely loving these tumblers! They’re all decorated with characters from the amazing movie, My Neighbor Totoro. Two of them feature Totoro himself – one shows him running with a sack full of acorns, it’s so cute! The other has a smaller Totoro holding a clover. And the third one? It’s got the incredible Catbus on it, plus a couple of little Totoros too! They’re perfect for any fan.

Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, a co-founder of Studio Ghibli, this beloved film quickly became a cultural phenomenon. It tells the story of two young sisters, Satsuki and Mei, who move with their father to the countryside to be near their hospitalized mother.

Throughout the movie, Satsuki and Mei discover the magical spirits living in their countryside home and the nearby forest, revealing a wonderfully imaginative world. At the same time, they learn to cope with their sadness about their mother’s illness and become even closer sisters.

After its release, My Neighbor Totoro quickly gained recognition, winning six major awards the following year. Currently, the film boasts an impressive 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on both critics’ reviews (from 63 critics) and user reviews (over 50,000).

Ever since its release, My Neighbor Totoro has become a beloved symbol of Studio Ghibli. Because of its popularity, the film’s charming characters, like Totoro, have been featured on a wide variety of products over the years.

One of the most talked-about releases recently was a giant Totoro plush, which came out in September. It’s over three feet tall – a full meter! – and incredibly detailed, looking almost exactly like Totoro from the movie. While it costs around $745, fans say it’s as close to having the real Totoro as you can get.

If you’re a Totoro fan looking for an affordable holiday gift, consider the Totoro Tummy Blanket from the Studio Ghibli shop. It’s a cozy, oversized recreation of Totoro’s belly – measuring about 45 by 34 inches – and costs just 5,280 yen (around $35).

My Neighbor Totoro is currently available for U.S. streamers on HBO Max.
