New photos from the set of the upcoming *Street Fighter* movie have revealed a first look at the character Vega, who will be played by Orville Peck.
What’s in the new Street Fighter photos?
A new photo posted to Peck’s Instagram marks the end of filming. In a lengthy caption, he thanked the film’s cast and crew. He also expressed his excitement for fans to see the movie and gave a close-up look at his character, including Vega’s distinctive snake tattoo which covers his body.

Okay, so I’ve been following the news about the new *Street Fighter* movie, and the cast list is seriously impressive! We’ve got Andrew Koji as Ryu, which feels perfect, and Callina Liang stepping into the shoes of Chun-Li. Noah Centineo is Ken, and get this – Jason Momoa is playing Blanka! Seriously, Momoa as Blanka is inspired casting. Roman Reigns is Akuma, Orville Peck is Vega, and they’ve even got Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki – that’s hilarious. Plus, 50 Cent as Balrog? Yes, please! They’re really leaning into the physicality with Hirooki Goto as E. Honda and Alexander Volkanovski as Joe. And it doesn’t stop there – Vidyut Jammwal is Dhalsim, Eric André is Don Sauvage, Olivier Richters is Zangief, David Dastmalchian is M. Bison, Mel Jarnson is Cammy, Rayna Vallandingham is Juli, and Kyle Mooney is Marvin. It’s a packed roster, and honestly, I’m really excited to see how it all comes together!
The movie, set in 1993, follows Ryu and Ken, two former friends and skilled fighters, who are drawn back into the world of combat. Chun-Li brings them together for the World Warrior Tournament, a fierce competition filled with action and personal stakes. However, the tournament is more than it seems – a dangerous plot is unfolding that pits Ryu and Ken against each other and forces them to confront their past. Failure to uncover the truth could have devastating consequences.
The Street Fighter movie is set to release on October 16, 2026.
