Streamer IShowSpeed beats Olympic gold medalist in a race and fans are stunned

People were shocked when popular streamer IShowSpeed beat Olympic gold medalist Letsile Tebogo in a 100-meter race.

IShowSpeed is turning heads online again, this time by competing against a former Olympian and showcasing his impressive athletic abilities.

This streamer is famous for his incredible athleticism, especially for jumping over two moving sports cars one right after the other in August 2024. He’s so skilled that he’s received praise from big names like NBA star Kevin Durant and WWE legend John Cena. He even ran a race and kept pace with Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles!

He’s showcasing his abilities on a tour of Africa starting in January 2026. During his travels, he connected with Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo, the celebrated gold medalist in the 200-meter race at the 2024 Olympics – a historic win as Botswana’s first-ever Olympic gold medal.

On top of everything else, he’s been the world’s fastest U20 runner in the 100 meter dash since April 2022. He also made history as the first athlete from his country to run the 100 meters in under 10 seconds.

Tebogo could face a tough challenge from IShowSpeed, who challenged him to a 100-meter race during his trip to Africa.

A large crowd watched as the two runners sped down the track. Speed quickly took the lead and passed Tebogo, winning the race in around ten seconds – a moment captured in a viral video online.

“I won that, though!” Speed boasted, with Tebogo saying he’d let him “take the win.”

While some people thought Tebogo wasn’t pushing himself hard enough during the race and stumbled early on, many are still impressed that Speed was able to run so closely with an Olympian.

“That’s the reason why he’s called ‘Speed,’ not ‘Slow,’” one user joked on X.

“Speed is built different, man,” another remarked. “How does he even find time to train?”

“You can tell he let him win,” yet another argued.

Speed has amazed audiences once again on his African journey, this time by keeping pace with a cheetah – even after the animal injured its leg with a claw.
