As a big Stranger Things fan, I was relieved to see Randy Havens (who plays Murray!) address all the chatter online about scenes being cut from the final season. Apparently, those rumors aren’t true! Netflix is rolling out Season 5 in stages, which is a cool way to build anticipation. We got the first batch on Thanksgiving Eve, another on Christmas Day, and the grand finale will be available on New Year’s Eve. It’s a bit of a wait between drops, but honestly, it just makes me even more excited!
Many fans have expressed disappointment online about the show’s current storylines. They believe scenes were removed during editing, which has hurt the overall quality of the version available on the streaming service.
Following negative reactions from fans online, actor David Harbour used Instagram to address rumors about a hidden version of Stranger Things. He clarified, “There isn’t a secret cut of the show. Please don’t believe everything you read from unreliable sources online.”
