Netflix is kicking off the premiere of Stranger Things Season 5 with a special online event! The “Stranger Things” 5 Premiere Transmission will feature a virtual red carpet, interviews with the cast, unexpected guests, and a first look at the final season. Fans could sign up on the Tudum website for access to this exclusive event.

Stranger Things is a hugely popular show and one of Netflix’s biggest hits. It’s won many awards, including 113 Primetime Emmys from 308 nominations. The fourth season quickly became one of the most-watched English-language shows ever on Netflix, racking up 140.7 million views and a total of 1.8 billion hours of watch time.

The actors have shared their emotions about the show ending and saying goodbye to their characters. Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, said his character found a strong new direction in the final season, and he felt it was the perfect conclusion for him. Director and executive producer Shawn Levy, speaking at a premiere, called the finale “the greatest TV finale I’ve ever seen.”

Caleb McLaughlin has expressed feeling sadder about the difficult experiences of his character, Max, as she remains in a coma after the battle with Vecna in the fourth season.

Netflix is creating an animated spin-off of Stranger Things called Tales from ’85. The Duffer Brothers, creators of the original series, are involved and the new show will bridge the story between seasons 2 and 3, focusing on Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Will.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will be released in two parts. Volume 1 comes out on November 26th, followed by Volume 2 on December 25th, with the very last episode premiering on December 31st. For a special experience, the finale will also be shown in some cinemas, letting fans enjoy it with a bigger audience.
