Stranger Things inspired Netflix’s most-watched Christmas Day

The final episodes of Stranger Things season 5 were released during the holidays and quickly became the most-watched show on Netflix, racking up an impressive 34.5 million views.
Christmas Day 2025 was insane – seriously, the most people ever tuned in to watch my stream! And it wasn’t just that day, either. The hype actually brought seasons one through four back into the Top 10 charts for an amazing five weeks straight – a new record for me!
The first season reached number 5 with 4.8 million views, while season four landed at number 6 with 4.1 million. Seasons three and two followed, ranking at numbers 8 and 9 respectively, both garnering 3.6 million views.

Ticket sales surge for Stranger Things: The First Shadow
The new Broadway show, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, which reveals more about Henry Creel’s history, experienced incredibly high ticket demand during the holidays.
The acclaimed show shattered the box office record at the Marquis Theatre in New York, earning over $2.5 million in just nine performances.
Plus, ticket sales for both the Broadway and West End shows reached record highs since they first opened.
