The final episode of Stranger Things is almost here! Before Season 5 concludes, Netflix has subtly corrected a mistake regarding the character Holly Wheeler (played by Nell Fisher).
The popular show Stranger Things is ending after ten seasons. The final episode, titled ‘The Rightside Up,’ will be available on Netflix at 5pm Pacific Time / 8pm Eastern Time on New Year’s Eve.
The finale will be available to stream, and Netflix estimates over 1.1 million fans will also watch it at participating cinemas across the US and Canada.
Before the big final battle against Vecna (played by Jamie Campbell Bower), a small mistake was fixed after viewers noticed it online. Be careful – spoilers follow!
Stranger Things Season 5 Holly Wheeler error fixed
During Season 5, Episode 7, titled ‘The Bridge,’ viewers noticed Holly Wheeler wearing a shirt from Under Armour while escaping Vecna’s pod. Interestingly, Under Armour hadn’t officially released that particular sportswear line yet at the time.
Fans of ‘Stranger Things’ have spotted something strange in the seventh episode of the fifth season. At the 4:21 mark, Holly is seen trying to escape Vecna while wearing a blouse from Under Armour – a brand that wasn’t supposed to exist at that time.

To keep the show’s 1980s look authentic and avoid featuring modern brands, the actors on Stranger Things usually wear unbranded clothes. So, it was quite a surprise to see Under Armour – a company that wasn’t even founded until 1996 – featured in Volume 2, which is set in 1987.
Sharp-eyed viewers spotted a mistake, and one X user, Molusco, shared screenshots online. He noted that fans of ‘Stranger Things’ found a noticeable hidden detail in the seventh episode of the latest season.
Around 4 minutes and 21 seconds into the show, viewers notice Holly attempting to break free from Vecna’s webs while wearing a blouse made by Under Armour. This is a mistake because Under Armour didn’t exist in 1987, the year the show takes place.
The post has gotten a lot of comments, and one person even asked if it was similar to the Starbucks cup that accidentally appeared in Game of Thrones.
Someone else pointed out that Vecna and kids with superpowers weren’t part of the original story, and a few people even speculated it was a planned marketing tactic – though there’s no evidence to support that idea.

After the issue gained attention online, it’s now been resolved. When Holly emerges from the pod, the Under Armour logo is no longer visible on her sleeve.
A fan noticed the change on Molusco’s post, commenting that it had been edited. They had just finished rewatching the content and confirmed the original part was no longer present.
