The creators of Stranger Things, Matt and Ross Duffer, recently revealed some details about the upcoming fifth season.
The fifth and final season of the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things, is being released in three parts. The first part will be available next month, and the remaining two parts will come out in December.
What did the Duffer Brothers say about Stranger Things Season 5?
I was reading Empire Magazine, and the Duffer Brothers let slip some details about Season 5 of *Stranger Things*. Apparently, episodes four and eight are going to be almost entirely focused on the creatures – basically, just non-stop monster action! It sounds intense, and honestly, I’m already excited (and maybe a little scared) to see what they’ve cooked up.
Matt explained that when they initially presented the show to Netflix, they expected viewership to be similar to that of Season 4. However, that prediction proved to be incorrect.
The creators said Episode 4, called “Sorcerer,” was by far the most difficult episode they’ve ever filmed, presenting huge logistical challenges.
Ross explained that while they didn’t aim for a completely neat and tidy conclusion, the final season does address most questions and wrap up all the main storylines. Their goal was to provide a clear and conclusive ending to the series.
Season 5 of Stranger Things will feature the return of Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, and Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven. Other returning cast members include Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, James Campbell Bower as Vecna, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, and new addition Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay.
The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts. Volume one arrives on November 26, 2025, followed by volume two on December 25, and the concluding volume on December 31.
