Stephanie Pratt, known from The Hills, doesn’t support her brother Spencer’s campaign to become mayor of Los Angeles. She’s publicly criticized his plan, particularly its lack of attention to public transportation, which she believes would harm the city’s train system. In a series of tweets, Stephanie acknowledged Spencer’s positive contributions to the Palisades neighborhood but argued that Los Angeles needs a qualified and experienced leader. She bluntly stated that voting for him would be a mistake.
Stephanie Pratt shared serious accusations on Twitter, including claims that her ex-husband, Spencer Pratt, was involved in a cult and physically abused her when she was 18. She also alleged he introduced her to hard drugs at age 15. Despite these claims, she stated she would vote for him if he ran for mayor of Pacific Palisades, but not for the larger city of Los Angeles. She questioned his qualifications, suggesting he lacked work experience and referencing his 2010 arrest in Costa Rica, and expressed skepticism about a Republican winning over Los Angeles voters.
The race for Los Angeles mayor is now even more competitive. Councilwoman Nithya Raman, who previously supported current mayor Karen Bass, has entered the race. Reverend Rae Huang also gained a boost with an endorsement from Hasan Piker, appearing on his livestream during protests against ICE on January 30th. However, Stephanie Pratt doesn‘t believe Spencer Pratt is a genuine candidate, suggesting he’s running to promote himself and his book.
