Teenage Astronauts and No More Robots were getting ready to release their new role-playing game, Little Rocket Lab, earlier today. However, Steam experienced an outage right as the launch was scheduled, causing a delay.
Mike Rose, who founded the game studio No More Robots, posted about this on social media.
Steam unexpectedly went offline right as we were preparing to release something, and it’s really stressful!

An hour later, Rose shared that he was very angry, but relieved when Steam was working again. Little Rocket Lab is now available to play on Steam and Xbox. The game’s publisher, No More Robots, also released a new trailer.
In this game, you play as Morgan, a young engineer determined to achieve her family’s dream of building a rocket. But first, she needs to restore her family home and use her engineering skills to help the residents of her hometown, St. Ambroise, improving their lives along the way.
Last month, the creators of the game Planet Centauri, Laurent Lechat and Boris Marmontel, received a letter from Steam admitting the game’s release didn’t go as planned. As a way to make things right, Steam offered to feature Planet Centauri prominently on its homepage with a Daily Deal.
Steam recently took down a game called BlockBlasters after discovering it was spreading harmful software. There are reports that the game may have even stolen money from someone battling cancer. In other Steam news, they introduced customized menus around the end of September. Interestingly, a new report shows that Xbox players actually play more games overall than those on PlayStation 5 or Steam, likely due to the popularity of Xbox Game Pass.
