Steam regularly offers free games, and right now, you can download four of them to start your week off right. Some are still being developed, but others are fully released. Although one free game will no longer be available after February 16th, several new titles have just been added.
There’s a free game for every type of player right now! You can find everything from fast-paced action games and team-based strategy to challenging roguelikes and even a peaceful game where you play as a cloud. SteamGamesPC recently announced four new free games on X (see their post below), so if you’re looking for something new to play this week without spending money, check these out!
Steam Gamers Can Grab Four New Free Games Now
The four games free on Steam are:
- Cloud
- PUBG: BLINDSPOT
- Solo Tactics
- Wellbound
Out of the four games, PUBG: BLINDSPOT is the most well-known. It’s a 5v5 shooter with a top-down perspective, and players have generally given it positive reviews on Steam since it launched in early access on February 5th.
If you don’t enjoy top-down shooter games but still want player-versus-player combat, Solo Tactics offers fast-paced 1v1 battles. Wellbound is a survival and crafting game with roguelite elements, and it became available in early access on February 4th. For a more peaceful experience, Cloud lets you guide a cloud to collect water and bring rain to plants.
There’s Something For Everyone
Whatever games you like, you’re likely to find something to play here. Steam has many free games that offer hours and hours of entertainment, but if you’re short on time, consider trying Cloud – it’s designed to be a quick experience. PUBG: BLINDSPOT and Solo Tactics are also good choices for shorter play sessions.
If you’re looking for a deeper dive, you might enjoy Wellbound. It has mixed reviews on Steam, so it’s hard to say exactly what it’s like, but the trailer was intriguing. Best of all, it’s free to try, so you can see if it’s a good fit for you.
