Sony revealed during its September 24th State of Play presentation that the classic 2000 stealth-action game, *Deus Ex*, originally created by Ion Storm and published by Eidos Interactive, is receiving a PlayStation 5 remaster, launching on February 5, 2026.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Deus Ex, and to celebrate, Sony is releasing a remastered version of the original game. Developed with Aspyr and Eidos Montreal, the remaster brings back protagonist JC Denton with improved graphics, modernized controls, and support for PlayStation 5 features like haptic feedback on the DualSense controller.
According to Matthew Ray, a brand manager at Aspyr, the remastered version of Deux Ex includes enhanced visuals like updated lighting, shadows, textures, and particle effects. They’ve also refined the controls to make the game feel more natural and easier to play.
