Starbucks is partnering with popular YouTuber MrBeast to launch a new drink based on his Amazon Prime show, Beast Games. The beverage is inspired by the show’s second season.
Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, is launching the second season of Beast Games. This season will feature 100 incredibly strong and 100 highly intelligent competitors battling it out in extreme challenges for a massive $10 million prize.
MrBeast revealed the huge city he created for his competition, complete with a 24/7 Starbucks to keep participants energized. Starbucks also contributed prizes to recognize the players’ achievements.
It’s not just the Beast Games competitors who are getting something out of Starbucks’ team-up with the popular YouTuber. To mark the occasion, Starbucks is launching a new Refresher, called the ‘Cannon Ball Drink,’ at stores nationwide.

Starbucks says this drink is a refreshing, tangy lemonade made with Strawberry Açaí and Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers, filled with pieces of fruit, and served over ice.
The ‘cannonball’ effect happens when baristas drop fruit into the drink, then stir it to create a beautiful purple gradient.
This vibrant drink was originally made on the set of Beast Games during filming of Season 2 and will appear in Episode 4 as part of the ‘Cannon Ball Challenge’.
Competitors in the Beast Games worked incredibly hard each day, so we were thrilled Starbucks agreed to keep them fueled and help them recover at Beast City,” said a Senior VP at Beast Industries.
We’re excited for fans to finally try the new Cannon Ball Drink and experience a taste of the fun!
The collaboration between Starbucks and MrBeast doesn’t stop there. They’ve also teamed up for a video titled ‘30 Days in the Sky,’ set to launch on his YouTube channel on December 20th.
Starting January 14th, Starbucks will offer a limited-time drink called the Cannon Ball, coinciding with the release of an episode about the Refresher on Amazon Prime.
