Popular Twitch streamer StableRonaldo has responded to accusations from Kick founder Eddie Craven that he’s been using fake viewers to make his channel appear more successful.
View-botting – using software to artificially increase viewer and follower numbers – has been a frequent issue in the streaming world. Originally, it was used by people trying to get streamers in trouble, as it violates platform rules. However, some believe that streamers themselves have also been using these bots to boost their numbers.
Following accusations that Twitch unexpectedly changed its revenue split with streamers, Kick CEO Ed Craven publicly accused streamer StableRonaldo of using bots to inflate his viewer numbers. Craven claimed StableRonaldo was a significant user of bots, and suggested that most of the views for FaZe Clan members were also fake, stating FaZe Lacy typically had only around 100 genuine viewers on Kick.
I’ll never forget when they first started streaming on Kick. There was this one time a bunch of them came to hang out, and honestly, we were all a little skeptical at first – like, ‘Okay, now we get it!’ It was a funny moment, seeing them in person after watching them online.
Kick CEO Ed Craven reacts to StableRonaldo complaining about losing his 70/30 Twitch revenue split. He also claims that former FaZe Clan members like Ron and Lacy are viewbotting

StableRonaldo responds to Kick Eddie over viewbotter claims
The clip got onto Ronaldo’s radar, who admitted it was a “compliment” to be called a viewbotter.
He actually took being called a botter as a compliment, saying it meant he was performing at a really high level. He even expressed gratitude for the accusation.
To be frank, I find it incredibly strange and unprofessional for a CEO to say things like that on a podcast. It’s a clear indication of why the platform won’t succeed, in my opinion.
If I were really manipulating the system with bots, why would Kick offer me so much money?
Cristiano Ronaldo publicly responded to KICK CEO Eddie, who accused him of using fake viewers (“viewbotting”). Ronaldo explained that KICK actually offered him a lucrative deal – millions of dollars in contracts – to stream on their platform, but he turned it down. He questioned how they would offer such a large sum if they believed he was artificially inflating his viewership.

StableRonaldo shows off Twitch revenue for 2026
Honestly, I was really surprised to hear those accusations! As a fan, it just didn’t make sense to me. The former FaZe Clan player said he couldn’t understand why anyone would think Kick would spend money on someone who cheats – it would be a total waste, and Kick is smarter than that.
Ronaldo recently shared his earnings for the beginning of 2026, stating he’s already made over $350,000. He then jokingly questioned if he would also use bots to inflate his numbers, and challenged streamers suspected of using bots to reveal their own earnings.
Ronaldo, a popular streamer, shared his Twitch earnings for January and February to demonstrate he doesn’t use fake viewers (view-bots). He challenged other streamers to do the same, showing transparency in their numbers. Here’s what he earned:
January: $266,000
February (first 15 days): $86,000
Total for 2026 (so far): $352,000— ryan 🤿 (@scubaryan_) February 15, 2026
Okay, so the drama between Twitch and Kick is back on, and it’s all about how much money streamers get to keep! Basically, Twitch is subtly throwing shade at Kick because Kick lets streamers keep 95% of their earnings, while Twitch only gives them 70%. It’s like, a big deal in the streaming world and it’s fun (and a little messy) to watch it all unfold.
“95/5 of bots is still $0,” she posted on X.
