In just over a week, “Squid Game” Season 2 is breaking streaming records on Netflix. After becoming Netflix’s biggest TV debut by amassing 68 million views in just four days, it added another 58.2 million views in its first full week of release. This brings the total viewership to an impressive 126.2 million viewers across eleven days, surpassing the record for any Netflix series within that timeframe.
In the past week, “Squid Game” Season 2 surged up Netflix’s chart of most-watched non-English shows, moving from position 7 to number 2. Currently, only the first season of “Squid Game” has more views with a total of 265.2 million in its initial 91 days on stream, but it looks like Season 2 could surpass this as it still has 80 days remaining to gather additional views.
