Square Enix shares Adventure Log Part 2, 3, & new screenshots for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined ahead of launch

So, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is coming out next week, and Square Enix just dropped a bunch of new screenshots! They give you a peek at how the game starts. I actually got to check some of this stuff out already because the demo is live on all platforms, which is awesome!

Square Enix has also released the second and third parts of their ‘Adventure Log’ video series for the game. These videos showcase the characters you can play as, the supporting characters you’ll encounter, and details about the game’s class system.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined will be available on February 5th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined finally launches on Thursday, Feb. 5!

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is coming out on February 5th! This updated version of the classic Dragon Quest VII features much better graphics and a revamped story and battle system. The game starts with a group of friends exploring ancient stone tablets, but quickly becomes a huge adventure to save the world. Get ready for an epic quest!

The characters who accompany you in the game (right) were created by first making detailed physical dolls (left) and then scanning them into a digital format.

The story begins in a tiny fishing village nestled within a peaceful island

Our story starts on Estard Island, a landmass adrift at sea. The main character, who grew up in a small fishing village, teams up with his best friend, Kiefer—the prince of Estard—to uncover the secrets of their world. Together, they journey towards an old shrine hidden deep within the island’s dangerous Forbidden Place.

Driven by a simple desire to know more, a remarkable journey begins – it’s time to explore the world and uncover its mysteries!
