Spotify Premium is getting another price and one plan will cost over $21 a month

Spotify is raising prices for its Premium subscription plans, and some users will now pay up to $21.99 per month.

This is the third price increase for US customers since 2023. However, the United States isn’t alone – Premium subscription prices are also going up in Estonia and Latvia.

The platform explained its decision to subscribers, saying it wanted to continue providing a positive user experience.

Spotify increases prices for individual, family, student and duo accounts

Students will see a price increase, with the student discount now costing $6.99 – a dollar more than before.

The Duo and Family plans have recently become more expensive. The Duo plan, for two people, now costs $18.99 per month, and the Family plan is $21.99 a month. Both plans increased in price by about $2.

Spotify isn’t the only platform to have upped its subscription costs lately.

As a Disney Plus subscriber, I was pretty shocked to hear about another price increase! It feels like just yesterday they significantly raised prices – some yearly plans jumped from around $80 to almost $160! It’s getting expensive to keep up with all my favorite shows.

YouTube Premium subscribers who signed up over a decade ago recently experienced a price increase of up to 62%, ending a long period of paying the original, lower rate.
