The popular Kelpo cereal from SpongeBob SquarePants is now available for purchase, and people are already finding it at Walmart stores.
Fans of SpongeBob SquarePants will soon be able to try the iconic yellow box cereal seen in the show! It’s now a real product tied to the new movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. The cereal is described as golden, crispy corn puffs and will only be available for a limited time.
A Walmart product page reveals that Kellogg’s is releasing a new cereal inspired by SpongeBob’s favorite from the TV show. Promotional materials shared by Nickelodeon fan sites confirm a collaboration between Kellogg’s and Paramount to launch this cereal, called Kelpo, alongside the new movie.
It looks like they pulled it straight from the movie
Okay, so the actual Kelpo cereal box they made is seriously cool. It looks exactly like it does in the cartoon – even the goofy, bug-eyed seaweed guy is on there! And the back? They totally copied the packaging as it appeared in the show, which is awesome because I remember seeing that box in tons of episodes growing up. It’s a really neat detail!

As a huge SpongeBob fan, I’ve definitely noticed Kelpo popping up all over the place! It’s been in over 20 episodes in the last twenty years, and it’s become one of those instantly recognizable foods from the show – you just know what it is when you see it!
Finally, this cereal is being released in packaging that looks just like the one seen in the cartoon, letting fans actually buy and enjoy a box for themselves.
