Split Fiction – How To Hatch The Underlands Bird Egg

As you traverse through the levels of Split Fiction‘s Underlands, you’ll come across various sizes of creatures. Among them, you might find a concerned pair of avian parents and their hatchling, apparently trapped within its shell.

Progress cannot be made until you assist this family with the birth of their new member. To achieve this, you’ll have to follow a particular series of actions ending with throwing a log at high speed towards the newly born child. Rest assured, they will be unharmed in this process.

Once you finish the subplot in this region, make your way back towards the perilous Piranha-filled waters. Utilize the reeds to leap swiftly to safety. Remember, if things get tight, you can also use the reeds for an upward dash.

Upon reaching the group of birds, you’ll notice that you can easily lift any of them. Interestingly, the parents seem uncomfortable with this, but it’s fine as we don’t require lifting them for this particular puzzle. Instead, locate the baby bird trapped within the eggshell and gently transfer it to the left side of the seesaw.

After assuming her tree shape, Zoe ought to seize the log in the middle section and tug it towards the left side forcefully. Keep a steady countdown, and instruct Mio to leap onto the other end of the seesaw, causing the bird to soar high up into the sky.

As I watch, I suggest Zoe to release the log she’s holding onto. This action will propel the log forward, knocking the bird’s egg towards the blocked path, which it’ll clear. Incidentally, this swift movement also cracks open the egg, and the contented family of birds will scamper off through their newly opened pathway.
