With the marketing for the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie gaining momentum – starting with the trailer released on March 18th – collectibles are starting to appear. The trailer gave fans a preview of Tom Holland as Peter Parker, including his new suit and a glimpse of a potentially dangerous storyline. Now that promotion is in full swing, we can expect the first Spider-Man Funko Pop! figures related to the film to be available in stores soon, ahead of the movie’s July 31st release.
A video posted on Instagram by Geek Garage UK from Toy Fair UK 2026 announced that Spider-Man: Brand New Day Funko Pops! would be available in the Spring. A sign at the Marvel exhibit stated the Funko line would be “On Shelf April 2026.” This release timing coincides with expectations for a new official preview of Brand New Day, as Sony Pictures is scheduled to present at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 13th.
So which Spider-Man: Brand New Day characters will receive Funko Pop figures first?
Brand New Day Funko Pop! Predictions
Spider-Man

Tom Holland is back as Spider-Man for his fourth solo movie. After the events of No Way Home left him feeling disconnected, this film shows him as a more solitary hero.
Now that Peter is living a quiet life in New York, Funko is likely to release a new Spider-Man Pop! figure, as well as a Peter Parker figure – possibly featuring his Empire State University sweatshirt from the trailer.
A Pop! figure to watch for features Peter during his transformation, hinted at in the trailer, where he’s shown developing the power to create webs naturally.
To figure out which characters might be included in the first wave of Funko Pops for Brand New Day (besides Spider-Man), it’s helpful to consider characters who appeared in previous Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movies.
The initial release of Funko Pops for Homecoming featured Spider-Man in various outfits, along with figures of Peter Parker, Tony Stark, Iron Man, and the Vulture. Far From Home continued this approach, adding supporting characters like MJ and Happy Hogan alongside different suit versions. By the time No Way Home came out, Funko started releasing figures much earlier – months before the movie – and focused heavily on Spider-Man suits, but notably didn’t include versions of the characters played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Ned

Jacob Batalon will reprise his role as Ned, Peter Parker’s friend who used to provide technical support. Now, Ned’s just a regular student at MIT and doesn’t know anything about Peter’s secret life as Spider-Man.
As a huge Spider-Man fan, I’m pretty confident Ned will be among the first figures released for this new movie. He’s been in all the previous films, and with the actors getting so much promotion, it’s a safe bet he’ll have a big role. Plus, it’s been four years since No Way Home, so a new Funko Pop with his updated look would be awesome!
MJ

MJ, played by Zendaya, is now a student at MIT, but she’s sadly lost all her memories of her previous relationship. To make matters worse, her new boyfriend probably won’t be receiving any gifts related to the song Brand New Day anytime soon.
As a big movie fan and Funko Pop! collector, I think MJ is a really smart character to release a figure of early on. She’s a core part of the story, but doesn’t spoil anything about the plot – so it feels like a safe bet for Funko and won’t ruin the surprises for us fans!
Scorpion

Michael Mando is back as the Scorpion after a nine-year wait, following his first appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming. A new, unmasked green Scorpion Funko Pop! figure will be released soon, showcasing the villain’s updated look from the latest trailer.
Bruce Banner

Although the Hulk is known for his incredible strength, the trailer for Brand New Day focuses on Mark Ruffalo’s portrayal of Bruce Banner as a more ordinary man – a professor wearing glasses at Empire State University.
Based on past releases, it’s likely Funko will release a Hulk figure in a future series. This makes a Professor Banner figure the most probable addition to the initial set of figures.
In the movie, Peter seeks guidance from a brilliant scientist to help him understand his changing abilities, creating a fresh mentor-student relationship within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Punisher

One of the trailer’s highlights is the first glimpse of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, marking his official introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen.
Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher, has a significant role in this grounded, street-level story and appears in several action sequences. A Funko Pop! figure of him, ideally featuring his signature skull vest and perhaps even his van (which Spider-Man damages in the trailer), would be a really popular item in the first wave of collectibles.
It would be great if the Funko Pop! figure included Frank with the web covering his mouth, just like in the trailer.
