With excitement building for Tom Holland’s fourth Spider-Man movie, a short, unconfirmed preview has started showing in some cinemas worldwide. The preview reportedly features characters like Hulk and Sadie Sink, adding to the buzz among Marvel fans. Although the film isn’t due out for over six months, people are eager to get a first glimpse of what’s in store.
Several cinemas worldwide have jumped on the excitement and shown a fan-made trailer before movies. People in the Philippines noticed it and shared it online (through DJ Tharula on X). The trailer appears to show what happens to Spider-Man after the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where everyone forgot who he was.
The trailer also shows Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, meeting Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), the return of Michael Mando as the villainous Scorpion, and a first look at Sadie Sink’s character, whose role is currently unknown.
Despite looking authentic, the almost 90-second trailer and its accompanying poster are actually fan creations. They were skillfully made by combining clips from previous Spider-Man films and other movies, both within and outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There’s a lot of excitement and speculation about when the first official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released. A possible early look at the movie surfaced online late last year. Sony and Marvel quickly removed these leaked clips from social media, which made many fans think the leaks were genuine.
There were rumors of a trailer being released before the end of 2025, but those hopes were dashed when industry insider Amit Chaudhari confirmed that a Spider-Man trailer isn’t currently planned.
The latest Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, arrives in theaters on July 31st. This film is unique because it’s the first Spider-Man movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) not directed by Jon Watts, who directed Spider-Man: Homecoming. Instead, Destin Daniel Cretton, known for directing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, takes on the director’s role.
Is a Spider-Man 4 Trailer Imminent?

It’s interesting how patterns emerge in comic book movie marketing. Fans might recall a similar build-up of anticipation and speculation surrounding the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home in the fall of 2021.
For weeks, rumors spread daily that the first trailer was about to be released. The anticipation became so strong that some movie theaters even started using fan-created posters and videos to build excitement. Once the official first look finally appeared, the frenzy died down.
Almost five years after the last installment, Marvel Studios is once again generating buzz. An unofficial trailer is circulating online, and a fan-created poster has quickly become popular as fans eagerly await official news about the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
With about six months until the movie comes out, we might see a first trailer for Brand New Day soon. There’s been some talk that marketing for the film is about to begin, which would make a trailer possible. However, if one does appear, it will likely be very short and show very little of the movie, given how far away the release date still is.
