Spider-Man 4, currently titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is coming to US theaters this summer. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), will star Tom Holland returning as Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When asked about potential moments in the film, Cretton said many scenes came to mind. Instead of revealing anything specific, he used the question as a chance to compliment Tom Holland’s acting ability.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton praised Tom Holland’s performance in the film, saying he was phenomenal. Cretton believes audiences will deeply connect with the emotional themes explored in the movie, adding that it’s also a very enjoyable and fun watch.

Details about the plot of Brand New Day are currently being kept secret. While there’s a lot of talk about a trailer possibly coming soon, it seems like just speculation, as Sony hasn’t made any official announcements yet.

Alongside Tom Holland, the movie stars Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Tramell Tillman are also in the film, though their roles haven’t been revealed yet.
