Spencer Pratt’s Wild Journey: From Fires to TikTok Fame and a Reality Show Dream!

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag had plans to commemorate the 15th anniversary of “Superficial” by celebrating, but their joy was cut short as a devastating turn of events occurred: the California wildfires destroyed their residence in Pacific Palisades.

Pratt expresses that this is an incredibly unusual and chaotic period, as he shares with EbMaster over Zoom. ‘During all the commotion,’ he says, ‘I received an email notifying me that the album was launching, and I thought, ‘Oh, my goodness!’ In search of any income source, I even made a TikTok asking people to stream it.’

On the 8th of January, I found myself sharing devastating news – my home and that of my parents had been consumed by flames. I documented our hasty evacuation and the heart-wrenching events that unfolded remotely through security footage. One particularly poignant clip showed our two sons’ beds ignite into a fire, taking the shape of a heart.

He stated on TikTok that people often assume, ‘You’re wealthy, you’ll manage.’ However, that’s not the case. Our home and all our possessions were acquired through hard work by Heidi and me. Now, we find ourselves starting from scratch with nothing.

Pratt has been quite active on his posts lately. His follower base has grown significantly, surpassing two million recently, and he’s been promoting Montag’s music vigorously. Interestingly, even though he anticipated the album’s success to some extent, he didn’t foresee it reaching the top spots on iTunes and Spotify charts. Moreover, celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Julia Fox, Emily Ratajkowski, Alix Earle, Flavor Flav, among others, have been sharing posts related to Montag’s music on their social media platforms.

Although he’s unsure about earning a profit, Pratt shares that he doesn’t know the exact amount of money his music has generated. He mentions that he’s uncertain about receiving payments and when they might arrive, but everyone seems to advise him not to expect any income. Instead, he’s more enthusiastic about the vitality and chances the experience offers him. He suggests that the music industry is primarily focused on touring, merchandise, and various related aspects; it’s through these channels that artists typically earn money unless they have billions of streams, which Pratt is still striving for. However, he acknowledges that this hasn’t occurred yet, and he remains optimistic since it’s the only way to persevere in this situation.

Pratt openly discusses his strategy of producing longer videos and frequent posting on platforms like TikTok and Snapchat to earn income, but he admits that his earnings per thousand views (RPM) are very low – just 10 cents. He explains that although many creators seem to rake in huge sums, his RPM is low because he talks about topics the TikTok algorithm doesn’t monetize through ads, such as cooking content. Furthermore, gaining almost a million new followers in a week has also lowered his RPM, as the TikTok algorithm struggles to understand the nature of his account.

Last night, around 3 a.m., I stumbled upon some incredible news that had me thrilled to the core – I’d gain a million followers within a week! The thought of this sudden surge in audience, coupled with increased engagement, has me envisioning exciting financial returns and a more active online presence.

Unlike with music, he’s able to see directly on TikTok how much he’s making.

Pratt stated that he earned approximately $4,000 from TikTok this week, but it was during the Live sessions where viewers could directly donate to him that he made an astounding $20,000. This is truly transformative and life-altering for him. He attributes this success to the support of individual backers who genuinely want to help him succeed. For Pratt, this kind of support, which doesn’t require reliance on advertisements or complex algorithms, is incredibly powerful and remarkable.

After he manages to access his Pratt Daddy office in the Palisades, he’ll start dispatching fresh “Superficial” T-shirts, with approximately 5,000 orders already made. Earlier, he used to produce them personally, but now a larger company is assisting. Furthermore, he has been seeking collaboration with other companies for creating hummingbird feeders – an endeavor that was a common activity from the backyard of his residence.

Pratt expresses optimism that collaborations for compensation will also prove advantageous. Previously on “The Hills,” Lo Bosworth, a cast member from “Laguna Beach” and later a colleague of Pratt’s, has expressed readiness to partner with him in her women’s wellness business, Love Wellness. At this point, no formal agreement has been reached, but Pratt is expressing his gratitude for Bosworth’s backing.

Following the fires, numerous fans and famous personalities have expressed interest in a studio producing a reality show featuring the couple. Initially, Pratt suggested Hulu, but he’s open to discussing their family’s rebuilding journey with any producers who are interested.

He expresses his desire for the filming to have begun, as it feels authentic and genuine. Many individuals with untold stories and small businesses we’re associated with are connected to us, making this an excellent chance for documentation. Currently, we’re sharing on social media, but he hopes to hand over the task to a larger camera while managing emails and incoming matters.

Currently, Pratt is making an effort to find the positive aspects amidst the challenges – the coincidence of “Superficial” album anniversary and fires – and encouraging Montag to remember this. He explains, “Ever since I met Heidi, she’s said – considering my frequent complaints about various situations – ‘God uses everything for good.’ I always ask how, and she replies, ‘It could be on God’s schedule, you never know God’s schedule.'” In these difficult times, he tells her, “Honey, it’s God’s schedule. We don’t know the timeline. There could be something wonderful that results from this.

“I obviously feel insane,” he continues. “I’m faking the positivity.”

One genuine emotion is gratitude, as expressed by Pratt during our conversation: “We’re incredibly thankful. Despite encountering negative trolls and those intent on undermining us, there are far more individuals who have wholeheartedly supported our family and wish us success.” He further adds, “I acknowledge our good fortune in this regard and eagerly anticipate a future where I can extend a helping hand to others.
