Sony Pictures Television Names Keith Le Goy as Chairman

Sony Pictures Entertainment has promoted Keith Le Goy to the position of Chairman for Sony Pictures Television.

In his latest role, Le Goy, who was previously in charge of the studio’s combined television distribution and home entertainment marketing businesses, as well as supervising SPE’s cable networks across Latin America and Europe, will now be responsible for overseeing all domestic and international production under Sony Pictures Television, including game shows and the Game Show Network (GSN).

Following the appointment of Ravi Ahuja as President and CEO of SPE in January, Le Goy has been promoted. Prior to this role, Ahuja held positions such as chairman of the global television studios and president and COO of SPE. Now, Le Goy will continue to report directly to Ahuja in his new position.

In his former role as president of distribution at Sony Pictures Television (SPE), Le Goy secured significant distribution agreements for Sony’s intellectual properties such as “Seinfeld”, in addition to profitable film output deals within the U.S. with Netflix and Disney. Under Le Goy’s leadership, SPE’s digital home entertainment business recorded its highest global revenue year ever for films in 2024, and their anime subscription service Crunchyroll amassed 15 million paying subscribers.
