Disney TV executive Jennifer Rogers Doyle has been appointed as the first Executive Vice President for Franchise Management at Sony Pictures Television, a new role established within the company.
In this new position starting promptly, Rogers Doyle will take charge and manage the strategic direction of valuable intellectual properties (IP) for Disney. Working closely with different teams, he will aim to optimize revenue potential for these IPs, as defined by Disney’s TV division. Notable IPs under his purview include “Cobra Kai,” “For All Mankind,” “The Boys,” “Outlander,” “Messi and the Giants,” “Bewitched,” and many more.
She’ll work from a lot in Culver City and directly report to Katherine Pope, who is the President of Sony Pictures Television Studios.
As a movie enthusiast stepping into the spotlight, I’m excited to share that Rogers Doyle has joined our ranks. Previously, she held a prestigious position at Disney as their Senior Vice President of Entertainment Networks Franchise, Licensing, and Integrated Planning. In this role, she oversaw projects spanning across various platforms such as Disney Branded Television, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, 20th Television & Animation, FX, and ABC. Her responsibilities encompassed ensuring the seamless delivery of original content streaming on both Hulu and Disney+.
For approximately two decades at Disney, Rogers Doyle has been involved in various projects spanning different age groups. These range from preschool series such as “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Spidey and his Amazing Friends,” “Sofia the First,” “Doc McStuffins” and “Super Kitties,” to popular tween shows like “Hannah Montana,” “High School Musical,” “Descendants” and “Zombies.” In terms of older audiences, she has managed projects including “Percy Jackson,” “Aliens,” “The Golden Girls,” “The Bear,” “Family Guy,” and “Futurama.
Before joining Disney, Rogers Doyle had experience working with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Landmark Entertainment Group.
