In the upcoming sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, you’ll find twice as much of that wild, chaotic Carrey energy. You can experience it all starting February 18, exclusively on Paramount+ for subscribers. Directed by Jeff Fowler, the Sonic films have been consistently impressive at the box office, outshining Mufasa last Christmas.
Not long after Sonic the Hedgehog 3 hits the screens, we’ve got confirmation that a fourth movie is in production and set to hit theaters on March 19, 2027. It’s just too bad they didn’t release Sonic the Hedgehog 3 earlier for Valentine’s Day because if you watch it solely for Carrey’s portrayal of Dr. Robotnik and his coffee-making assistant, it’s basically a romantic comedy!
