Sonic the Hedgehog is trading his usual bright landscapes for a shadowy detective agency. He’s now investigating a new kind of villain – Dr. Eggman, but this time it’s a whole different case!
Sonic the Hedgehog has achieved incredible success in many different areas. He’s competed in the Olympics, starred in hit movies, and consistently proven himself as a popular character across various platforms.
Podcasting is one area where Sonic the Hedgehog hasn’t made a mark yet. But what would a Sonic podcast even be like? A dark, crime-focused thriller, naturally! What other possibilities are there?
A new audio series is coming soon starring Sonic, who will lead the Chaotix Detective Agency. And early reports suggest it’s fantastic!

The show adopts the classic style of a noir crime thriller, but playfully subverts it with a brighter, less dramatic atmosphere.
Many of the original voice actors from the games are back to bring this audio experience to life. Roger Craig Smith will once again voice Sonic, Matthew Mercer returns as Espio, and fans will recognize several other familiar voices.
You’ll see familiar faces like Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy the Bee again and again. Sega has also hinted that other popular characters will make brief appearances throughout the game.
Doctor Eggman couldn’t be behind it all, could he?
