So, Emily In (Spoiler)? After Emily In Paris’ Season 5 Finale, Lily Collins And Ashley Park Told Me Their Ideas For THAT Trip

After Season 5 of Emily in Paris wrapped up, I immediately wondered if Emily might head to Greece. I had to ask Lily Collins and Ashley Park about it, and they shared some fun possibilities for what a move from Paris to Greece could look like for the show’s main character.

After watching the latest season of Emily in Paris, I kept replaying the scene where Gabriel sends Emily a postcard inviting her to Greece. I was so curious if that meant she’d be going there next, so I asked Lily Collins and Ashley Park about it during an interview. Lily, who plays Emily, told me during our conversation for TopMob:

I certainly hope so, but it’s uncertain. We’re not even sure if the show will be renewed for a sixth season, so we’re really hoping it is.

During our conversation, Collins also discussed Gabriel and Emily’s relationship, explaining that they’ve reached a new stage. They have mutual respect, are focusing on their individual lives, and it’s probably too early to consider getting back together.

Perhaps this trip to Greece could be a fresh start, moving away from the ongoing drama between Emily and Gabriel. Ashley Park suggested it would be the perfect location for Mindy’s bachelorette party now that she’s engaged to Nico, and she had some ideas:

If she says yes, she’s planning a trip to Greece – we’ve been hinting at it! But first, she needs to organize the bachelorette party. And if Gabriel wants to cook dinner for everyone while they’re there, that would be great.

I really like this idea! Even though I believe Emily and Gabriel will eventually end up together, they’re not quite ready for a relationship yet. A relaxed trip to Greece with friends could help them strengthen their bond. And a delicious meal prepared by a well-respected chef would be fantastic, too!

I’m a little worried things might get awkward if Mindy’s feelings for Alfie surface during the bachelorette party. But overall, I’m happy for Mindy and Emily to have a fun girls’ trip to Greece and celebrate this important moment in Mindy’s life, even if it’s a bit messy.

I really enjoy imagining these characters living a fun, carefree life like in the movie Mamma Mia! It’s especially sweet knowing how enthusiastic Park and Collins were about the possibility of a trip to Greece, as shown in the video below.

I really hope Emily made it to Greece as well! It was great seeing her in Rome this season, and even though Paris is the heart of the show, it’s enjoyable to see her traveling around Europe with Mindy and her friends.
