SNL Recap: Host Harry Styles And The Pitt Gets Called Out

Harry Styles will return to host Saturday Night Live, and he’ll also be performing as the musical guest. This marks his second time hosting, and it’s great news for the show’s fans.

Saturday Night Live appears to be hitting its stride again. After a period of weaker shows, the last three episodes have been remarkably strong. This week, former One Direction member Harry Styles directly addresses the criticism he’s received about potentially ‘queerbaiting’ his audience. Here are some of the best moments from tonight’s show:

Harry Styles’ SNL Monologue

In a recent speech, Styles addressed the public’s fascination with his style. He explained that people had often accused him of ‘queerbaiting’ because of his unusual clothing choices. Rather than get into debates, Styles demonstrated what queerbaiting actually looks like by kissing Ben Marshall on stage during his appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Saturday Night Live Calls Out The Pitt

Saturday Night Live released a funny trailer for a fake show called MAHAspital, which parodies the HBO series The Pitt. The sketch playfully criticized how unrealistic medical dramas can be, featuring characters clearly based on those in the original show. The trailer, jokingly ‘produced’ by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., showed an emergency room where patients received absurd treatment, and doctors made rude comments about vegans and vaccinated people. It ended with the slogan “Make America Healthy Again.”

Harry for Him

One particularly fun part of the show highlighted Harry Styles’ most famous looks. In a playful fake commercial for Target, Styles unveiled “Harry for Him,” a clothing line allowing fans to buy replicas of his iconic outfits. While several SNL cast members also modeled the clothes, the effect wasn’t quite as stylish.

I have to say, the reaction to that concert-worn doll dress was fascinating! Fans absolutely loved it when the musician brought it out. But the same can’t be said for Mikey Day’s character on the show. He played a Wells Fargo loan officer who decided to wear the dress to work, and let’s just say his boss wasn’t impressed. He got a stern warning about inappropriate attire – a pretty funny contrast, honestly!

New episodes of Saturday Night Live come out every Saturday night at 11:30 PM Eastern Time and 8:30 PM Pacific Time on NBC. The next episode is scheduled for April 4, 2026, and will feature Jack Black as host and Jack White as the musical guest.
