The anniversary special marks the conclusion of a series of unique programs that graced Season 50 of “SNL”. Starting in the fall, NBC broadcasted two-hour specials like “A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving” and “A Saturday Night Live Christmas”, showcasing some iconic holiday sketches from the show. On January 16th, a four-part documentary named “SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night” premiered on Peacock. Later, on January 27th, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson directed another documentary titled “Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music”, which delved into memorable musical guests and skits from throughout the years, airing on that date.

On February 14, the SNL50: The Homecoming Concert will be held at Radio City Music Hall. This extraordinary event will also stream live on Peacock. The show will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon and boasts an impressive lineup of artists such as Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52s, The Roots, and many more!
