Nano Park Studios, the developers of the upcoming RPG Petal Runner, along with publisher iam8bit, have just released a playable demo of the game.
Petal Runner is a new game for PC (Steam), launching in 2026, that takes inspiration from classic Game Boy Color titles. A demo is available now on Steam if you’d like to try it out! The game’s public demo lets you explore North Valley, a vibrant coastal city full of interesting people, culture, and job opportunities. You’ll wander through incredibly detailed pixel art streets, discovering new minigames and unique HanaPets – the charming digital creatures from Petal Runner – for the first time.
Petal Runner is a heartwarming coming-of-age adventure set in a beautiful, pixelated world inspired by the Game Boy Color. You play as Cali and their fox companion, Kira, as they work to achieve their dream of becoming Petal Runners – skilled motorcycle couriers. Their job? Delivering and setting up the latest digital pets throughout a lively coastal city.
