Skibidi Toilet creator allegedly loses control of the series sparking #bringboomback movement

The person who made Skibidi Toilet, DaFuqBoom, reportedly no longer has full control over the show’s direction. This information comes from claims within the Skibidi Toilet fan community and messages posted by content creator EliteBlueGuy, suggesting Invisible Narratives is now in charge of the creative process.

Adam Goodman’s company is facing accusations of seizing control of the YouTube channel where new episodes are released. The channel is run by Alexey Gerasimov, known online as DaFuqBoom, and features his popular Garry’s Mod series, Skibidi Toilet, which has garnered hundreds of millions of views since 2023.

In 2024, Gerasimov partnered with Invisible Narratives to create official content for Skibidi Toilet, including a movie. However, in November 2025, fans became worried after messages supposedly from Gerasimov appeared online, indicating he was no longer making major decisions about the series.

YouTuber DaFuqBoom no longer has full creative freedom over his popular ‘Skibidi Toilet’ series or control of his YouTube channel. This is due to Invisible Narratives, the company now involved, who have imposed strict rules about his uploads, payments, and have made him sign a non-disclosure agreement. It appears Invisible Narratives were also responsible for copyright strikes against content related to Garry’s Mod.

According to these messages, Gerasimov expressed feeling cut off from the film’s progress, stating he hadn’t been given any updates or seen any of the creative plans.

According to screenshots posted by EliteBlueGuy, he stated he hadn’t received any advance information or been part of any discussions about the details. He said he only heard a vague description over the phone and briefly saw portions of a script, and that was all.

Screenshots claim creator expresses concern over contract and payment

Beyond concerns about his control over the creative process, screenshots also suggest Gerasimov was facing money problems. He reportedly wrote he was “almost broke” when someone mentioned retirement. In another message, he explained he wasn’t receiving any payments when asked about his financial difficulties.

In other messages, Gerasimov expressed feelings of being deceived, distrustful, and anxious. He described the people closest to him – both in business and personally – as being the source of his biggest problems. In a message from February 2025, he admitted he was on the verge of collapse, overwhelmed by everything happening.

#bringboomback movement trends on X

EliteBlueGuy is still saying that Invisible Narratives has been removing the creators of Skibidi Toilet from Discord, bullying people in the community, and controlling who can upload videos to YouTube.

He stated that “[Invisible]” was responsible for the attack on Garry’s Mod, and later added that those in charge were stifling fan protests and resorting to strong-arm tactics.

The company was also responsible for shutting down Garry’s Mod. These leaked screenshots reportedly show DaFuqBoom discussing Inviz.

According to TheGamer, Gerasimov asked for some of his online messages to be taken down. A screenshot appears to show him requesting a friend delete older posts after discussing the matter with the company.

EliteBlueGuy mentioned a conversation with someone named Michael, but later clarified that it wasn’t Michael Bay. The project is actually led by Adam Goodman and his company, Invisible Narratives.

Invisible Narratives hasn’t responded publicly to the claims. Gerasimov, the creator, also hasn’t made any statement about the screenshots that are being shared. Fans in the Skibidi Toilet community are still using the #bringboomback hashtag, hoping for an update on what’s happening and whether Gerasimov is still involved.
