While skateboards are usually for getting around town quickly, the game *Skate* lets you reach your destination in a hilariously chaotic way-by flailing and tumbling! Now available in early access on PC and consoles, players are discovering all sorts of funny glitches in the game’s physics. You can find plenty of videos online of players intentionally falling and sliding across the city of San Vansterdamn, somehow managing to gain incredible speed-apparently, even clapping is more effective than a parachute!
A new skating game has finally been released that encourages players to move around like they’re in Mario 64 – it turns out that’s the best way to play!

Full Circle, the developer of Skate, is working to fix the long wait times players are experiencing when trying to get into the game. They stated they’re adding more servers to accommodate the high number of players eager to skate in San Van. Earlier this week, Full Circle acknowledged the server issues were caused by a huge influx of players. Because Skate requires a constant internet connection, players currently have to wait for a spot to open up, which has led to requests for an offline mode.
