The popular trend of streaming Silent Hill f has reached a surprising new level: Hinako Shimizu’s parents are now broadcasting their own gameplay of the survival horror game.
The voice actors who played Hinako’s parents in Silent Hill f are now streaming the game on PS5, letting fans see them play through the scenes featuring the family’s difficult moments.
Their first stream was a hit, launching on December 29th and attracting nearly 125,000 viewers who were excited to watch the pair play the game.

Takeshi Masago plays Hinako’s father, Kanta Shimizu, and Tamami Hiraoka plays her mother, Kimie Shimizu. While both actors are veterans of film and television, they’re relatively new to gaming, and that’s become a charming part of what people enjoy about the show.
Hinako’s father hasn’t played a video game in decades, and this is her mother’s first time ever playing on a PlayStation 5, according to the official YouTube description. The actors have asked viewers to be understanding and watch them learn the game controls as they play.
Konatsu Kato, a key artist on the Silent Hill f project, has been streaming herself playing the game on YouTube, and it’s generating a lot of excitement. Since she began on October 24th, her streams have consistently attracted thousands of viewers and gained popularity on social media, with fans enthusiastically supporting her as she navigates the eerie town of Ebisugaoka.
